Carburetors, Intake. filler before restoration.
Aluminum valve covers, distributor, water pump, will all need work before going back on car.
Generator located, but like all other equipment will need a full rebuild... Thank god i know a guy
Original water pump was long sense gone and abandoned but a few posts on NCRS and corvette websites netted me 2 rebuildable pumps. Why 2? Better safe than sorry.
the distributor was in rough shape and not installed on the car but with some work it has been restored, bench tested up to full design RPM and is ready to be installed on motor.
Below the transmission and rear end restored, and rebuilt to its original glory. at this point you can even make out teh transmission and rear end stamps. They came out of the car in very rough shape but now look fantastic, makes me wish the body didn't have to go on and cover such beauty . They look fantastic and are ready to bolt in the car when the chassis come back together here in the weeks to come.
Gauges are done, rebuilt, restored and look fantastic. ON the left are the original gauges showing almost 60 years of wear and abuse. On the right are the gauges ready to be installed >>> great job, can’t wait to see them installed on the red dash
